Baby Ella

"Baby Ella" is a pathetic attempt to attribute personality to our little one on the way. We have not officially decided on a name yet, but this one will do in the mean time ( : (I am growing strangely fond of it however).

Ella is nearly 7 months along right now. She is in the 39% for her age, which means she's a smaller baby. I can attest to this as her mama, since it has only been in this past week that people have felt sure enough to ask about my pregnant belly. (And oh, how I wear it proudly!)

Jelani and I have been doing great throughout these past few months. The first trimester of 24 hour-"morning sickness" dealt us a hard blow, but it's been smooth sailing since. I remember for our 1 year anniversary, Jelani spent a majority of the time making trips to the store for crackers and fizzy pop, then feeding them to me. Not exactly the romantic celebration either of us would have envisioned for our first anniversary!

Anyhow, with Ella on the way in just a few months I want to start getting some ideas up for the nursery, baby essentials and whatever else comes to a first-time-mama's mind ( :
